Suh Wang Mo

First off, the fantabulous picture is thanks to She's lovely and amazing, and a wonderful photographer.

Alrighty, so the costume...it was 5 months of staying up late, getting up early, sewing on lunch breaks and before and after work, and sacrificing sleep/imbibing copious amounts of caffeine to get this one finished. The headdress is made out of fun foam, craft/jewelry wire, and puffy paint. The dress itself is made mostly of georgette, with various brocades and things for the sashes and such. The embroidery was all done on my new machine, which I had never used before, so there was allot of trial and error involved. There's still some embroidery I want to add, but time restraints didn't see it added before A-kon.
